Today we learned about our eyes and our sense of sight. Mrs. Power did a handstand to show us that we see the image upsidedown in the back of our eye. Our brain fixes it.



We also worked on finding images for our service learning project. We are collecting pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald House. Start saving your pop tabs!

Today we read the story "No David!" written by David Shannon. He wrote this book when he was 5 years old. We watched an interview of David Shannon. He was talking about his books. Later, we picked pages that we are going to work on for our movie. It is going to be a funny movie!

Today we had music and library. Our library books should be returned by Tuesdays. We also finished our Dirt Harry dogs. Then we retold the story with our dogs. Mrs. Power took our pictures!

Today we painted with red, blue, and yellow. We pretended our fingers were mice and danced in the colors. We saw red and yellow made orange, red and blue made purple, and yellow and blue made green!

September 14, 2009

Today Mr. Johnson came in and we finished filming our Kinder Rules movie! We colored and created our "Dirty Harry" dogs. We went to the computer lab to learn how to do MAPS. It was fun! We practiced writing the letter Aa. What a fun day!
